A gastroenterologist is specifically trained to care for problems that deal with digestive organs…the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, intestines and colon. Although the gastroenterologist does not operate, he is able to utilize new techniques and instruments to examine the intestines internally.
Your medical care is our most important goal. We are dedicated to helping each of our patients achieve the highest possible level of digestive health. Continuing education keeps your doctor current in the newest medicines and techniques of treatment. For this reason, your doctor will be away for two or more weeks per year, as we continually look for new ways to solve old problems.
Gastroenterology of Southern Indiana is a model of collaborative practice where patients benefit from the medical expertise of physicians in conjunction with Southern Indiana Endoscopy. Together, they offer non-invasive out-patient procedures in the only free-standing licensed and accredited endoscopy facility of its kind in Southern Indiana. We offer three procedure rooms and seven patient prep/recovery beds. We are committed to fostering an environment where affordable healthcare can be obtained in a warm and gentle atmosphere.
