Dr. Stuart H. Coleman began
his medical practice in New Albany in 1984 after many years of training.
He attended the University of Kentucky for his pre-medical studies and
the University of Louisville Medical School. This education was
followed by a year of internship and an additional two years of
specialty training in Internal Medicine, all in Portsmouth, Virginia
with the U.S. Navy. He then received two additional years of
training in Gastroenterology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Coleman is board certified in both Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology. Dr. Coleman is married and the proud father of two sons. In
addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Coleman enjoys gardening,
woodworking, and all outdoor activities.

Dr. David M. Dresner
joined our practice in 1994. He received his undergraduate
degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and his medical degree
from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Following this, Dr.
Dresner completed one year of internship and two years of residency in
Internal Medicine in Portsmouth, Virginia with the U.S. Navy. He
then received two additional years of training in Gastroenterology, also
in Portsmouth. Dr. Dresner is board certified in both Internal
Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Dresner is married and the
proud father of three daughters. In his free time, he very much
enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, hunting, fishing, and
most all outdoor activities. ~top~

Dr. James C. Strobel joined
our practice in July of 1997. He received his undergraduate degree
from Indiana University in Bloomington, and his medical degree from
Indiana University in Indianapolis. Following this, Dr. Strobel
completed his residency in Internal Medicine, and after three years
of additional training, completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at
Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Strobel is board
certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is
married and the proud father of three children. In his free
time, he enjoys basketball, baseball, reading, and spending time with
his family.

Dr. Huey T. Nguyen
joined our practice in 2000. He received his Bachelor's degree in
1987 and his medical degree in 1991, both from the University of
Louisville. His Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology
fellowship were completed at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati,
Ohio. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in both Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology. Dr Nguyen is married and is the proud father of
three children. In his free time, he enjoys
computers, home theater, music and reading.

Dr. Abdul Jabbar
joined our
practice in 2006. He graduated from Nishtar Medical College,
Pakistan. For one year he served as Research Fellow at University of
Pennsylvania in Philadelphia before completing his Internal Medicine
Internship and Residency at Columbia University teaching program of
Overlook Hospital at Summit, New Jersey. He received Fellowship
training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of Louisville,
followed by extra training in hepatology and endoscopic ultrasound.
Prior to moving to Indiana, he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine in
the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville. Dr.
Jabbar is board certified in both Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology. He is married and the proud father of two children.
He enjoys UL basketball, playing golf, and spending

Dr. Steven P. Harrell
joined our
practice in 2008. He graduated from University of Louisville
School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine. He
completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his
fellowship in Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Dr. Harrell is married
and has two children. He enjoys playing golf and with his dog in his

Dr. Matthew D. McCollough
joined our
practice in 2010. He obtained his undergraduate degree from
Georgetown College and his medical degree at the University of
Louisville. This was followed by an internship and residency in Internal
Medicine at the University of Louisville. He is board certified in
Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. After serving one year as Chief Medical Resident, Dr. McCollough completed three years of subspecialty training in
Gastroenterology/Hepatology. He is married and the proud father of two
children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys

Dr. Emori B. Bizer
joined our
practice in 2010. She received her undergraduate education from
Indiana University in Bloomington. She attended the University of
Louisville School of Medicine and graduated in 2004. Her clinical
training was completed at the University of Louisville, as well, where
she completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Fellowship in
Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Dr. Bizer is board certified in Internal
Medicine and Gastroenterology. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, and spending
